The Gauteng Relays organised by the Rand Orienteering club was held in very warm dry conditions, the recently remapped Boksburg Stadium was used as the venue for this years relays. After leg 1 it was a close race between AR1, RACO 1 and ROC 1, a brilliant run by Dylan Hemer in leg2 brought WITSOC into 2nd place with ROC dropping back to 6th and RACO dropping to 5th, the final leg runners from ROC and RACO brought their teams home in 3rd and 4th place respectively, but no one could challenge AR club for 1st and WITSOC for 2nd place.
