It was a good weekend for the Rand Orienteering Club this weekend, securing 7 trophies on the long distance event at Voortrekker Monument as well as a few titles at the short distance event on Saturday at Hennops River Valley.
The superb weekend of orienteering ably organised between AR Club (Short) and RACO (Long) was a great a success, The new area Hennops mapped by the group of UK based mappers was a pleasure to run on, and the courses on both days kept the orienteers thinking with a good mix of short and long legs.
ROC winners for the weekend are : Nicholas Mulder (x2) , Glynis Shoebotham (x2), Del Comins (x2) , Charles Lautenbach, Ian Bratt (x2) ,Ken Robinson, Michael Bratt
