The 1st event of the 2008 CC Log took place last weekend at the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve near Pretoria, this haven allowed the orienteers to complete on their courses passing the odd antelope who have this reserve as their home.
The area was quite overgrown with plenty of blackjacks and high grass to contend with, the courses were planned by Trevor Pope and Controller Craig Ogilvie had to duck out of his duties at the last minute , but thanks to Steve Kench for assisting Trevor on the day. The organsing team led by the Del Comins did a great job, thanks to all the helpers on the day without your help these events would not be possible.
Nicholas was back in form winning the Brown Course while Tania Wimberley continued her dominance of Ladies orienteering.
