ROC Members take part in Swiss Event

No less than four ROC members and one AR orienteer participated in the annual urban event in scenic Schaffhausen in Switzerland.

Despite the 2 hour drive and the price of petrol at R 15.00 per liter, we all enjoyed ourselves. Our performances were somewhat indifferent, with the exception of Liz who finished first in the W60 category. The main event was won by Benno Schuler who with three Swiss colleagues visited South Africa at the end of the last and beginning of the present year. We only discovered that Nigel was there when he emailed us after he got back home and saw the results.
